This attractive, soft-textured Chardonnay from the terrific 2007 vintage offers very good value. The bright golden colour leads to subtle aromas of ripe pear, melon, stone fruit, hazelnut and vanilla. It’s dry, fairly weighty with a round smooth texture and ripe pear, pineapple and apricot flavours as well as notes of vanilla and toast, culminating in a medium-long buttery finish. Pair it with seafood pasta in a cream sauce or roasted turkey breast or drumsticks.
